Bread is made by hand from flour in the in-store bakery, using a sourdough starter even for white loaves. The rustic breads have a crisp crust and slightly moist interior. Handmade pastries include cinnamon buns, doughnuts, Finnish sweet buns and Danish pastries. Master confectioner Eero Paulamäki oversees the chain's cakes and confectionery.
