This Tampere shop and café belongs to a bakery whose roots go back to 1906 and which is run by the Mäkinen family of bakers. Breads are made from local ingredients without unnecessary additives, and the sourdough is left to rise slowly. The range includes Arvo rye bread, created for the company's 120th anniversary.
In the mornings the café has a bread buffet with a wide choice of breads and toppings. Seating and the toilet are wheelchair accessible, and cards and mobile payments are accepted. There is both paid and free street parking. The breads are also sold in K-group shops across Finland and in S-group shops in the Tampere area.
