Founded in 2004, the school provides basic arts education under the general music curriculum. Alongside early-childhood groups for babies and young children, it offers individual and paired lessons for children, young people and adults. Instruments include piano, strings, woodwind, guitars, ukulele, bass and percussion, with singing, band tuition, ensembles and senior groups too.
Students can join throughout the year without entrance exams. Teaching takes place at two sites. Guitars, ukuleles and violins can be rented by students, and rehearsal and event space is available to hire. The affiliated Riento Shop sells instruments, sheet music and accessories in store and online. Some employer wellbeing benefits and culture vouchers are accepted.
