This self-service laundry in Tampere is at the Lielahti K-Citymarket hypermarket, where you can wash and dry everyday laundry, household textiles and rugs. A flatbed machine handles rugs with hard backings, and lockable drying cabinets let rugs dry for up to 24 hours. Down pillows and down jackets have their own programmes, and the tumble dryers dry a load in about 30 minutes.
There is no need to book: just use a machine when it is free. Fragrance-free detergent is included and dosed automatically, payment is by card at the machine, and instructions are posted on site.
