This self-service laundry in the Westeri shopping centre in Tampere handles rugs, duvets, large home textiles and everyday washing, with special programmes for down pillows and down jackets. Hard-backed rugs go into a flatbed washing machine that takes 5 to 30 minutes, lockable drying cabinets let rugs dry for up to 24 hours, and tumble dryers finish a load of laundry in half an hour.
There are no bookings: a machine is yours whenever it is free. Fragrance-free detergent is included and dosed automatically, and you pay by card at the machine. The entrance is step-free and there is accessible parking.
