Tampere's red-brick railway station was completed in 1936, and its landmark is a 50-metre clock tower. The building houses a range of services for travellers.
Train tickets are sold on the VR website in Finnish, Swedish and English and in the VR Matkalla app, which keeps your tickets on your phone. There are left-luggage facilities and toilets. The entrance, toilet and parking are step-free, and paid parking, including a garage, is nearby.
