This Tampere cultural restaurant occupies an old grain warehouse shared with the Telakka theatre. Three theatre groups restored the empty building largely with volunteer work, and the dining room opened in May 1996 to fund the theatre space. Any profit still goes to theatre and independent culture. The house also has Galleria Telakka for exhibitions and a peat sauna, and live bands play on its stage.
Lunch is served alongside an à la carte menu and a wine list, and there is a large terrace. Tables can be booked online, and the house provides meeting catering and entertainment for events. The entrance and seating are step-free, but there is no accessible toilet or hearing loop.
