The registered association AvaraTaide ry has run this contemporary art space in Tampere since 2009. It holds about 40 exhibitions a year, changing every three weeks, with painting, sculpture and media art by artists at different stages of their careers. There are three spaces: IsoGalleria for larger installations, PikkuGalleria for smaller works and Mediakulma for moving image and sound.
Admission is free. Artists can apply for an exhibition through a form on the website, and visitors can sign up for email invitations to exhibitions and events. The entrance, toilet and parking are not accessible.
