Opened in autumn 2018, this Tampere gallery is devoted to the painter Olli Joki, born in Hämeenlinna in 1943. His oil paintings, prints and art cards return to Mediterranean landscapes, red-toned female figures and blue surrealist fantasy scenes with figures and birds. The French academy Art, Sciences et Lettres awarded him a silver medal for depicting French life, culture and landscape.
Admission is free, and visits can also be arranged by appointment. Works are delivered to the buyer's home, with help in choosing a spot, hanging and framing. Each oil painting comes with a certificate of authenticity, and payment can be split into interest-free instalments.
