Gallerist Petri Nieminen has run this Tampere art gallery for more than 20 years. It is housed in an art building over a century old, a couple of kilometres from the city centre. The collection includes works by over 100 artists: paintings in many styles, watercolours, naive art, prints and sculpture, with only part of it on display at any one time. Finnish art is both bought and sold here, and exhibitions are held too.
If you are after a particular work, it is worth calling ahead. Framing is also available. Visitors can park in the yard or on the street. There is a toilet, and the gallery is suitable for children.
