This Tampere reuse centre sells good-quality second-hand goods. It is run by Pirkanmaan kierrätys ja työtoiminta ry, a non-profit association founded in Tampere in 2011, which has two shops in the city and also offers wage-subsidised jobs, work trials and internships.
Intact household items can be donated during opening hours, as can small batches of clean textiles and clothing, and electronics are taken for recycling. Donations are collected free of charge when booked online or by phone, while taking away unusable items is charged. The centre also clears out homes and can deliver purchases. A visit usually takes 15 to 45 minutes, and the entrance is step-free.
