Operating since 1989, the inter-Christian charity delivers food and basic supplies to people in conflict and disaster areas and funds school meals in developing countries. Aid is impartial regardless of ethnicity, religion or nationality, prioritising the most vulnerable.
Local churches and organisations buy supplies with funds sent from Finland and report spending monthly. The charity works across Christian communities without representing a single denomination. It has a board drawn from different churches and one full-time employee.
