Founded in 1990, the non-profit association provides community-based social services and works to reduce inequality and loneliness. It is politically and religiously non-partisan.
Its Verkko unit arranges volunteer and peer support for older and disabled people to help them live at home. The association works with the L8 community centre and municipal social and health services. Appointments can be booked online.
