Personal assistance is provided throughout Finland through service vouchers and purchased services. Customers interview and choose their assistant and define the details of the service. The Finnish company employs more than 3,000 personal assistants.
It can recruit a new assistant or become the employer of a customer's existing assistant. Employer obligations and substitute arrangements are handled as part of the service. Contact is by phone or email, and the company works with disability services offices.
