Founded in 1947, the association advocates for people with rheumatic diseases, shares information about rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions, and offers peer support and recreation. It helped establish the Finnish Rheumatism Association and runs an outpatient clinic founded in 1955. A women's committee established in 1949 supports the association and organises events.
The premises host coffee afternoons, handicraft groups and foot-care sessions. An accessible meeting and party room near the railway station can be hired for up to 50 people.
Share your experience of the association in the comments for people seeking peer support or activities.
