This pub in Turku opened in 1988 and, according to its website, was the first beer restaurant in Finland, bringing Central European beer culture to the country. Pilsner Urquell, Beck's and Kronenbourg, the first imported beers in Finland, were on offer there that year, and the pub won the Pub of the Year title in 1992. The range covers dozens of beer brands, draught beers, ciders and wines.
The menu has bagels, burgers, sandwiches, wings, hot dogs, nachos and fries, with vegan options. Tables can be booked only for dining during kitchen hours, not for the same day. Gigs have free admission, and there are games and an arcade. The toilet is accessible.
