Designed by the architects Totti Sora and Gunnar Wahlroos, this functionalist church was completed in 1933 among workers' wooden houses in Turku. It has a barrel-vaulted roof and holds up to 800 people. The parish was founded in 1921.
It is open during events and by arrangement. Besides worship and parish activities it is especially suited to weddings and christenings, and receptions can be held in the parish hall next door. Weddings and christenings are booked through the parishes' booking service. There is an induction loop and one accessible parking space, but no accessible toilet; the aisles are narrow, there are steps up to the altar and the paths up the hill can be icy in winter.
