This Turku concert hall stands on the bank of the River Aura and is connected to the Turku Conservatory. It was built inside a former rope factory and shipyard hall and completed in 1994 to designs by the architects Laiho-Pulkkinen-Raunio. The programme includes a concert series, school concerts, conservatory student concerts and other performances.
Depending on the size of the stage, the auditorium seats 310 to 379 people, and the hall also hosts parties and corporate events. The lighting and sound equipment covers the basic needs of most events, and Unica runs the café and restaurant in the foyer. The entrance and toilets are wheelchair accessible, and there is accessible parking.
