This concert venue in Turku was the home of the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra until autumn 2026. Playing since 1790, the orchestra is the oldest in Finland and one of the oldest symphony orchestras in the world, with 74 musicians and John Storgårds as chief conductor. In autumn 2026 it moved to the Fuuga music hall on the bank of the River Aura, and the farewell concerts here took place in October 2026.
The building has a step-free entrance and an accessible toilet, and a bar and a restaurant serve audiences during events. Cards and mobile payments are accepted. As the orchestra's concerts have moved to Fuuga, check upcoming events and ticket sales before you visit.
