Standing on the bank of the River Aura, this Turku playhouse was founded in 1946. It has a large and a small stage, and most of the repertoire is its own productions, alongside co-productions. Shows range from children's and family plays to drama, comedy and stand-up.
Tickets are sold online, at the box office and by phone, and the box office also opens an hour before performances. Groups, schools and kindergartens have their own services, guided tours are available, and rooms can be hired for meetings and events. The restaurant Viides näyttämö serves the audience, with refreshments in the interval. Seating, the entrance, toilets and parking are accessible.
