This Turku day-care centre is in a row house and has 44 places, with children in groups of four to seven. The focus is on strength-based teaching, social skills and language learning through play, creativity and nature. Role play, fairy tales and creative activities run all year, and children also learn through movement, art and exploring nature.
Children come from many cultures, and different traditions are explored alongside Finnish ones. It follows the Green Flag environmental programme. It is run by a company owned by a non-profit association, which also has centres in Uusikaupunki. Places are applied for through a form on the website, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.
