Run by Sateenkaari Koto, this Turku day-care centre takes children from under three up to pre-primary age. Nature is its main value: children go on forest trips, walk nature trails in autumn and ski trails in winter, and are in the forest all year round. With no yard of its own, children play outdoors in the surrounding nature every day. It is also a LUMA development centre focused on science and hands-on maths.
Pre-primary education is provided for the City of Turku as a purchased service. Like the operator's other day-care centres in Turku and Uusikaupunki, it follows the Green Flag environmental programme. Places are applied for through an online form, and the centre is on Instagram.
