Designed by Hjalmar Lindahl in 1864 for restaurant use, this villa stands in Ruissalo's public park, about 6 km from central Turku. Turtle soup was once on its menu, and for about ten years the house was known as Aurinkoravintola (Sun Restaurant) before taking its current name in 2011. The three upstairs party rooms hold about 85 guests, and there is also a bar room and a terrace for about 20.
The villa is hired for weddings, birthdays, graduations and meetings. MessiCatering runs the catering, using Finnish ingredients, archipelago delicacies and local produce. Föli bus 7 and a water bus from the Aura river serve the villa, and there are about 200 free parking spaces.
