The restaurant is in the Ruissalo Spa Hotel on Ruissalo island, with large panoramic windows facing the sea. The menu is built on simple, well-made food inspired by the archipelago, with seasonal and mostly Finnish ingredients. The head chef is Jarno Seppä, and the menu includes items from Ruissalo island, such as spruce mayonnaise. A Strand Gin made for the restaurant is flavoured with archipelago botanicals such as meadowsweet, sea buckthorn and pine.
Besides the indoor dining room there is a summer terrace by the sea. A breakfast buffet is served every morning and à la carte dishes seven days a week. Sunday brunch has a buffet of starters and desserts plus plated main courses. The menu offers gluten-free and lactose-free options and pizzas with a gluten-free base, and vegetarian and vegan options include a vegan burger and vegan pizza. Parties of over 10 are by reservation, and the restaurant hosts celebrations such as Mother's Day, Father's Day and Vappu. Book online; the seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
