This Turku fencing club holds the Finnish Olympic Committee's Tähtiseura quality mark for its children's, youth and adult activities. Six groups train on weekdays, and the club also offers private lessons and a skill-level test. The hall can be hired together with an instructor for events such as children's birthday parties or stag dos.
Beginner courses run twice a year, in spring and autumn, for children, young people, adults and veterans. No experience is needed: equipment is lent for the course, and you only need indoor sportswear. Sign-up is on the club's website, and places are limited. There is paid street parking nearby, and the toilet is not wheelchair accessible.
