Founded in 1980, the mixed scout group has about 70 members, from cub scouts to adult volunteers. Scouting is offered to ages 7–22 across five age groups. Weekly meetings are supplemented by an annual camp and at least two weekend hikes.
Members can borrow hiking equipment. The group organises the Hyypiön Hiippailut scouting skills competition with sister groups. Martin parish provides premises and annual support. There is no hearing loop, wheelchair-accessible seating or accessible toilet.
