Founded in 1997, the national association promotes the preservation of old buildings, traditional building skills and materials. Active operations began in 2001. It publishes Tuuma magazine three times a year and an annual thematic yearbook for members.
Membership is open to individuals, architects and companies interested in old buildings, restoration and traditional construction. Activities include study trips and themed evenings. Contact people are based across Finland, and this location is in Iso-Puolala.
