This non-profit association was founded in 2000 for performing arts professionals and students in Southwest Finland. It organises morning classes, courses and workshops: classes are mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, covering contemporary dance, jazz, ballet and body care. Regular classes are mostly held at LTA Studio in Manilla, and workshops and intensive courses usually take place on weekends.
Members can influence activities at membership meetings held twice a year. Members and work groups with at least one member can apply for rehearsal space support, though not for teaching. Its main cooperation partner is Läntinen tanssin aluekeskus, the Western Finland dance regional centre.
