Founded in 1898, the employers' association advocates for employers and promotes conditions for business. It has more than 50 member companies across different industries. Its history includes labour agreements and dispute mediation, and a quality mark committee established in 1935.
Members receive information, expert events, networking opportunities and ways to influence regional business matters. The association participates in employment and entrepreneurship projects; its initiatives led to an apprenticeship training system in 1959. Its office is in Wiklund-keskus.
