The restaurant occupies Hartmanin talo, a building more than 100 years old beside the market square, and has been serving guests since 1964. The menu offers classic dishes with a modern twist, made with local ingredients. The wine cellar holds established classics and newer wines, and the bar stocks Finnish gins and craft beers. A lunch buffet runs on weekdays and Saturdays, with salad, fresh bread, coffee or tea and a small dessert. Lunch is also available as takeaway and through Wolt delivery.
Tables can be booked, and groups of at least eight can pre-order a three-course business lunch. The meeting room package includes technology and service, and the sauna room suits groups of about 15 to 20 with a large TV and a small sound system. Gift cards are sold. The entrance and seating are wheelchair accessible, but there is no accessible toilet or hearing loop.
