This restaurant stands in the inner harbour and is one of the oldest pavilion restaurants in Finland. Its history stretches back over 150 years: it was first built in 1868–1869 as a summer restaurant in the park area. It seats about 220 guests indoors, and the sea-view summer terrace adds about 400 seats. Lunch is served, along with an à la carte dinner menu that changes with the seasons, a wide choice of drinks and carefully chosen wines. A Christmas table runs in December.
Private events are arranged for larger groups and company dinners. Tables can be booked online, and the website is available in Finnish, Swedish and English. The seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible, but there is no hearing loop.
