Registered in 1998, the association promotes multicultural activities and knowledge of other cultures. It organises community events, discussion evenings and seminars on international topics, and publishes an international cookbook.
Its advice service is for both foreign residents and Finns, and it also operates a community centre. Website content is available in Finnish, English, Russian, Somali and Arabic. A separate multilingual website provides drug information for young people. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
