Founded in 2006, this scholarly association promotes multidisciplinary disability studies in Finland. It brings research together and makes it visible, supports disabled people's participation in research and encourages debate on disability policy.
Annual disability studies days bring together researchers, organisations and students. Individual membership is available, and an annual research grant application round is organised with Tukilinja. The website publishes news and the Vatublogi blog.
