The Scout district supports 79 local groups and over 5,000 Scouts across South, Central and North Ostrobothnia and Ostrobothnia. It organises events, basic hiking courses and leader training, and publishes the Pohjan Puhuri district magazine.
People interested in joining can get help finding their nearest local group, and volunteers have a recruitment process. Groups can borrow marketing and communication materials. The event calendar and course information are online.
