The rural development association funds and advises public-benefit and business development projects through Leader in Northern and Central Ostrobothnia. Its seven-municipality area includes Alavieska, Kalajoki, Merijärvi, Oulainen, Sievi and Kannus as well as the office's home municipality. Businesses, communities and young people can apply.
Staff help prepare applications and implement projects. Applications are submitted electronically through Hyrrä. Support also covers international partnerships and youth internationalisation, with project stories and news published online.
