Pohjanmaan Ravi ry runs this harness racing track. The first trotting races were held in 1969 on the site of a former airfield, on a track built by volunteer effort. Opening races took place on 19 July 1970, the wooden grandstand was built that year and a new grandstand was completed in 1986.
The track hosts pony clubs, horse shows for mares and foals and other horse events. A canteen serves visitors during events. Betting on races is arranged together with Veikkaus.
