The restaurant is named after Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. Its chefs were recruited from Nepal and have over eight years of work experience in Finland. Dishes are made from fresh local ingredients with Himalayan herbs and spices, and the spice level can be set to mild, medium or hot. The menu includes chicken, lamb, seafood, vegetarian and vegan dishes, noodles and momos.
The weekday lunch buffet has seven hot dishes, basmati rice, naan, nine salads, Nepalese tea and mango lassi. Tables can be booked, and home delivery and online ordering are available. Cash, lunch vouchers, and credit and debit cards are accepted. The restaurant is in the Keskustalo shopping centre and has an accessible toilet.
