This regional district of the Finnish Reserve Officers' association (Reserviläisliitto) was founded in 1958. It has 20 member associations and about 3,000 individual members. Shooting is the most common activity among the member associations, and the district has a shooting sports section covering rifle shooting and SRA (military shooting skills).
The office and shop are in the historic Häme Castle area. The district offers training and runs a shop for members and the public. Its website lists a shooting competition calendar, records and results.
