This registered association aims to support people with substance-abuse and offending backgrounds in their situation and in reintegrating into society. Its main target group is people with such backgrounds, and their relatives are supported too. It follows a "zipper" principle: members include people with their own substance-abuse or offending background and people without such experience. The association is religiously and politically non-aligned.
Its work includes the Tukikohta support service and Läheiskompassi, a project for relatives, run by a relatives' work coordinator and a relatives' work specialist. The website offers guides on prison life, release, and the perspectives of offenders and their relatives. There is also a podcast and channels on Facebook and Instagram.
