Founded in 1959, the boating club has around 180 members, including sailors, motorboat users and divers. Members can use marina, base and boat storage services, with bases on Vasikkasaari and Kallioissaari.
Its inspection section checks members' boats under Finnish sailing federation rules and maintains a vessel register linked to the right to fly the club flag. Basic inspections have two stages, with annual inspections carried out on the water. Membership is by application. Accessible parking is available at the office.
