This Helsinki wine bar is run by the same business as a restaurant around the corner, and its owner and sommelier is Samuil Angelov. The list runs to nearly 800 wines, with a wide choice by the glass every day, and the snacks include cold cuts, cheeses, risotto and small plates from the restaurant kitchen. Wednesday brings a blind tasting of three wines, Thursday is champagne night, and on Saturdays there are tastings in Finnish and English.
Tables can be booked online, and tasting tickets are sold in advance in the online shop. A private room next to the bar seats up to eight. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible, cards and mobile payments are accepted, and there is paid street parking.
