An art deco cinema in Helsinki, built for silent films and in continuous use as a cinema since it opened to the public in March 1928. The programme is mostly arthouse and international films, with premieres, matinees and a French film of the month series.
Some screenings have English subtitles, and the website has a Films in English section. Post-screening discussions and guest appearances are common, and there are HopeaCine screenings for seniors. A new weekly programme is published and tickets go on sale every Tuesday; season cards and gift cards are available. Orion-klubi members can attend club events. The toilet is accessible, and cards and mobile payments are accepted.
