Linked to KAVI and housed in Oodi, Helsinki Central Library, this cinema screens larger-than-life classics, landmarks of film history and more recent films. The programme draws on its own archive collections and partner archives, and the projection booth is built for archive screenings, so it can show traditional film prints, including 70mm and CinemaScope.
Tickets are sold at the box office and in the online shop, and a weekly newsletter covers the programme. The website has an English section. There is accessible parking, the entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible, and cards and mobile payments are accepted.
