Housed in the Kaisa House, this is the main library of the University of Helsinki, with collections for the humanities, education, law, theology and the social sciences. Besides print collections there are e-books and journals, open learning materials and subject guides. The building also has the HelsinkiUni Help student service point.
You can borrow, return, renew and reserve items, and print, copy and scan. There are group work rooms, IT rooms and researcher rooms, meeting rooms can be rented, and the library runs courses and workshops. The entrance is step-free, and visits usually last 1.5 to 4 hours.
