Built by the sea in 1939 next to Helsinki's Rowing Stadium, this building was meant to host the press and guests at the Olympic rowing races, but the Games were cancelled, and no rowing took place here at the 1952 Olympics either. Today it hosts weddings, family celebrations and memorials, as well as company meetings and summer and Christmas parties. The upper floor looks out to sea.
It takes 120 guests for drinks receptions, 100 for buffets and 72 for dinners, and the summer terrace seats 60. Food comes from partner caterers, and as there is no alcohol licence, guests may bring their own drinks. Meetings can add kayaking or a wine tasting. The entrance and car park are not step-free.
