This part of the Helsinki City Museum presents the trams, buses and metro that have been part of Helsinki for over 130 years. It is housed in the Korjaamo Culture Factory and reopened after renovation on 24 March 2022. A highlight is the Sisulaattori tram simulator, which takes visitors back to old Helsinki using sound and images. The photo collections include the 3T tram and horse-drawn trams.
Admission is always free. The entrance and toilet are step-free, and it is suitable for children. A visit usually takes from 20 minutes to about two and a half hours. The website is in Finnish, English and Swedish.
