This home and art museum in Helsinki occupies the former office building of businessman and art patron Amos Anderson. Four rooms on the fifth floor and a chapel with an organ half a floor above have been restored to their 1920s appearance. Reflecting Anderson's taste, the collection is mostly European art from the 16th to the 19th centuries, alongside Finnish works from the late 1800s and early 1900s such as Wilho Sjöström's Tallen.
Admission is free, and you can drop in or book a visiting time online. Guided tours run in Finnish and Swedish, including an introductory tour on Saturdays at 3 pm. It is suitable for children, and the entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
