Rockway is an online music learning platform, a streaming service used by schools and individual learners. It offers over 400 courses, each with 20 to 30 video lessons that come with sheet music and backing tracks. The range covers band instruments as well as composition, recording and mixing. According to the website, the teachers are experienced music educators and Finnish professional musicians.
Courses are organised as sequential learning paths, and lessons can be viewed without limit and played at an adjustable speed. Teachers can take a licence for unlimited use in their own teaching, and students have their own licences for home and school use. Over 130,000 Finnish users are registered, and several educational institutions use the service. School partnership inquiries are handled by a dedicated contact person by phone.
