This Nepalese and Indian restaurant in Helsinki is housed in an Art Nouveau building and seats about 50. Mohan and Keshori Aryal founded the family business in 1997, and Mohan is the owner and head chef. Food comes from a tandoor oven, each diner gets their own freshly baked naan, and the cheese, raita, chutney and spice blends are made in-house. Specialities include Everest Special Biryani, Everest Special Chow Mein and butter chicken.
The menu of over 50 dishes features lamb, chicken, fish and plenty of vegetarian options, but no beef. Tables can be booked online or by phone, and groups of more than ten must phone. Food can be ordered to take away or delivered through Wolt.
