Open since 1940, this Helsinki classic keeps the old 'Stadi' (Helsinki slang for the city) restaurant culture alive in a modern way. Lunch is home-style food, evenings bring an à la carte menu, and at weekends there is a brunch buffet. Finnish and foreign beers sit alongside wines and cocktails. There is music every week, karaoke at weekends, and gigs and open stage nights from time to time.
There are 151 seats and separate rooms for groups, including a private dining room for about 35; combined, the spaces hold around 100. Tables can be booked online or by phone, same-day bookings by phone only. There is a terrace, accessible seating and toilet, and dogs are allowed inside.
